Most of the 'now' photos in this section were taken in the summer of 2001, some have been re-taken in 2005 to show additional changes to the line. Guildford of course is still a very busy station, but many of the abandoned ones still show much evidence of the closed line.

Cranleigh station is the hardest to recognise today, as the 'Stocklund Square' shopping and housing development has been built on the site, and more recently (2004) a large Sainsbury's supermarket has been built over half the 'Stocklund Square' site.
